Signed by CGEM’s president, Miriem Bensalah Chaqroun, and COP22 Commissioner, Abdeladim Lhafi, the agreement established how the CGEM would contribute to the organization by Morocco of the COP22, to be held on November 7-18 in Marrakech.

Under the agreement, the CGEM will ensure a strong presence of international employers in this major event, which will be marked by the signing of the “Declaration of Marrakech’s Employers.”

The signing of the Declaration is scheduled at the High Level Business Summit on Climate Change, slated for November 16th in Marrakech.
