Morocco Guest of Honour at 1st OIC Green Economy Fair in Dakar
Dakar – Morocco will be the guest of honour at the first Green Economy Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), slated in Dakar on October 26-29, General Director of Senegal’s National Renewable Energy Agency Djiby Ndiaye announce.
This meeting, which will be organised in collaboration with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade among OIC member states, will be held simultaneously with the 7th edition of the International Exhibition for Renewable Energy and the Environment in Africa (SIERA).
The OIC’s 57 member states and many Islamic institutions are expected to attend the meeting, in addition to exports centres and private and public operators.
A scientific symposium on the theme “Towards Green Economy: Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development” is also scheduled as part of the fair which will stretch over 2000 m2.
B to B meetings and visits to renewable energy sites are also on the agenda.
