Qatar Aspires to Promote its imports of Moroccan Agricultural Products

Rabat – Qatar aspires to promote its imports of Moroccan agriculture products, said, Monday in Rabat, Qatari minister of Municipality and Environment, Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi.

During a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Aziz Akhannouch, Al Rumaihi, who is on a working visit to Morocco as part of the 7th session of Moroccan-Qatari high joint commission of cooperation, stressed the importance of this visit in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the agriculture sector and in promoting trade.

In this regard, he told MAP that a Moroccan vessel loaded with agricultural and industrial products arrived in Qatar, which testifies to the willingness of his country to boost economic cooperation with the kingdom.

The visit will be marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement in the agricultural field, notably covering livestock farming, fisheries and the exchange of experiences between executives from both countries, he stressed.

After praising the exemplary links between Morocco and Qatar, he called for the intensification of exchanges and visits between the experts of both countries in order to further develop economic relations.
