Nador – Customs services of the eastern region directorate caught 7 tons of plastic bags, on Wednesday at Barrio Chino post (Nador), a source from the customs services said.

During a control operation, the customs members discovered the plastic bags hidden in bundles that were supposed to contain used clothes and shoes from the occupied city of Melilla.

The same source recalled that, since the enforcement on July 1, 2016, of Law 77-15 on the prohibition of manufacturing, importing, exporting, marketing and using plastic bags, the customs services have been duly authorized to fight this scourge which undeniably harms the environment.
