Agadir Prepares for Global Summit ‘Climate Chance’
Agadir, 29/05/2017 (MAP) – The steering committee of the ‘Climate Chance’ Summit convened recently in Agadir to complete preparations for this event that brings together non-state actors against climate change, slated next September in the same city.
The meeting was attended by president of the Souss-Massa regional council and secretary general of the Climate Chance Association Bernard Soulage.
The meeting is meant to agree on the site of the event and go through aspects of its organization which will be entrusted to a specific communication and publicity company, said a statement by the regional council.
After Nantes in France, Agadir will host on Sept. 11-13 the second edition of this summit which is a link between the Marrakech COP22 and the COP23.
It will bring together mainly representatives of authorities, businesses, associations, trade unions, and scientific organizations.
