Morocco stood out last year by hosting in Marrakesh the UN framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22) Songwe told the press following a meeting with foreign minister Nasser Bourita, lauding Morocco’s support for the Economic Commission for Africa and the UN organization in general.

She added that the meeting coincides with the opening in Rabat of the 32nd inter-governmental committee of experts (Oct. 3-6) which concerns sustainable development and youth and women employment.
