SG of OIF Visits Green Energy Park in Benguerir

Rabat, 12/05/2017 (MAP) – Secretary general of the “Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie” (OIF) Michaëlle JEAN visited this week the international testing, research and training platform “Green Energy Park” in Benguerir, said on Friday the institute of research in solar energy and renewable energy (IRESEN) in a statement.

During this visit, IRESEN Director General Badr IKKEN, as well as officials from the platform, gave details on activities conducted within this research and training platform, which is the only one in Africa, and underlined the role it plays in relation to capacity-building in the field of renewable energy and its contribution in transferring technology from the north to the south, it added.
