Casablanca to Host Moroccan-Finnish Energy Forum on May 23-24

Helsinki  – A Moroccan-Finnish Energy Forum (EnergyDays) will be held in Casablanca on May 23-24 in order to foster cooperation between the operators and institutions of the two countries in this strategic sector, said the event’s organizers.

Initiated by technology center +Merinova Oy+, with the support of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, this event will bring together leading Finnish companies specializing in energy technologies as well as several Moroccan players in the sector.

EnergyDays will be an opportunity for both parties to explore “the vast opportunities related to energy production and distribution, smart grids, energy efficiency and renewable energy.”

In a statement, Merinova Oy said that the initiative aims to learn about the energy market in Morocco, establish contacts between partnerships.

The Forum is also meant to promote new trends in renewable Moroccan and Finnish private and public operators and build fruitful

energies, boost the exchange of know-how between operators, experts and decision-makers and identify areas for future cooperation.
