Marrakech to Host 11th Arab Energy Conference on Oct. 1-4

Marrakech – The 11th Arab Energy Conference will be held in Marrakech on October 1-4 under the theme “Energy and Arab Cooperation”.

Initiated by the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), this event will be held in Morocco given the important energy changes currently taking place in the country and the progress made in terms of sustainable development as well as environmental and climate issues.

According to a statement by OAPEC, the conference will bring together Arab ministers of energy, oil, gas and electricity, representatives of Arab and international private companies, the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Arab League, banks and financial institutions interested in the issue and experts concerned with the oil and energy industry in Arab and foreign countries.

At the 11th Arab Energy Conference, participants will discuss issues such as fossil energy, renewable energy, power generation, in addition to energy-related activities including transport and logistics.

The Arab Energy Conference is held once every four years in Arab countries according to energy needs.
