France Reiterates Support for Morocco’s Hosting of COP22

Paris, 04/11/2016 (MAP) – France reiterated, on Friday, its support for Morocco’s hosting of the 22nd Conference of Parties (COP22) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, to be held on November 7-18 in Marrakech.

France supports Morocco so that the COP 22 will be a successful event, said the French Presidential office in a statement released on the occasion of the entry into force of the Paris Agreement this Friday.

The Marrakech Conference on climate change will bring solutions, said the Elysée, adding that French President François Hollande will travel on November 15-16 to Marrakech in order to attend this global event.
