Transition to Renewable Energies Could Be One of Solutions to Avoid Price Fluctuations (Official)

Rabat – The transition to investment in renewable energy could be one of the solutions to counter fluctuations in energy prices at the international level, said Thursday in Rabat, Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mustapha Baitas.

This transition was the subject of a working meeting, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, on November 22, 2022, devoted to the development of renewable energy and new prospects in this field, said the minister who was answering questions from journalists at the end of the weekly meeting of the Council of Government.

He added, in this context, that the executive is called upon to accelerate the implementation of the royal vision in this regard, emphasizing the need to coordinate the efforts of the government, the private sector and parliament, through the adoption of new laws to accelerate the achievement of objectives set by the Sovereign by 2030.
