Marrakesh, 09/11/2016 (MAP), The prize-awarding ceremony of photography contest “a picture for my planet”, organized by the CDG Foundation, the ministry of culture and the national council for human rights (CNDH) as part of the COP22, was organized on Tuesday in the Green Zone of Bab Ighli site in Marrakesh.

In the category of artist-photographers, the first prize was awarded to Noureddine Tilsghani, followed by Said Rais and Youssef Lahrichi.

In the category of amateur-photographers, three prizes were awarded respectively to Khalil Rajaoui, Lotfi Souidi and Younes Mouhtadi.

The contest jury is chaired by artist and writer Mahi Binebine and includes artist Fatiha Zemmouri, Kenza Khallafi, member of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environment Protection and President of the Moroccan Association of photographic art Jaarfar Akil.

The selected works shed light on situations related to the environment, the fight against climate change, pollution and citizen actions in favor of sustainable development and environment protection.
