Morocco, an Example to Follow in Clean, Renewable Energy (Argentinean Minister)

Buenos Aires – Morocco is an example to follow in terms of clean and renewable energy, and commitments to climate conventions such as the Paris agreement, said Argentinean Environment and Sustainable Development minister, Sergio Bergman.

In a statement to MAP on the sidelines of his participation in the reception organized by the Moroccan Embassy in Buenos Aires on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Throne Day, the Argentinean official also hailed the successful organization of the 22nd Session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22), held last November in Marrakech.

On the other hand, Bergman praised the efforts made by HM King Mohammed VI to build a renewed and leading Morocco within its regional space.

He added that the HM the King has always been concerned with developing a policy mainly based on the preservation of the Islamic Moroccan identity by promoting an openness on modernity, which allowed Morocco to occupy a place among the leading countries.
