Assilah to Host Workshops on ‘Implementation of Environmental Agreements’ on April 10-11

Assilah – The northern city of Assilah will host two workshops under the theme “Implementation of environmental agreements after COP22 and MedCOP Climate” on April 10-11, at the initiative of the Mediterranean Foundation for Cooperation and Development (Fo MCD) and the German Foundation Konrad Adenauer.

The scientific event, organized in partnership with Assilah City Council, Tangier-Assilah Municipal Council, the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the Moroccan Association for eco-cities and the Moroccan Association of Local Community Presidents, will be an opportunity to discuss many issues related to environment and the effects of climate change, said a statement by the organizers.

The meeting, which will bring together academics, experts, local authorities’ presidents and civil society actors, will feature awareness-raising workshops on ecological questions and means to protect and preserve the environment.
