UN: Morocco Participates in High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development

United Nations – A large Moroccan delegation led by Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali is participating in the proceedings of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, held at the United Nations headquarters in New York (July 4-15).

The delegation is composed of ambassador Omar Hilale, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN, officials from several ministerial departments, MPs and representatives of civil society.

During her participation in the high-level segment of the Forum, which took place on Thursday, Benali presented, in her capacity as president of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA), the main results of the fifth session of the Assembly and its contribution to the discussions of the Forum on sustainable development.
