4-Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Driouch Province

Rabat – A 4-magnitude quake on the Richter scale was recorded, on Wednesday, in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The earthquake, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, occurred at 12:40:53 p.m. (GMT), said the ING National Seismic Monitoring and Warning Network in a seismic alert bulletin.

Occurring at a depth of 15 km, the tremor took place at a latitude of 35.429 °N and a longitude of 3.552 °W, added the same source.
