Meknes – The strategy “Generation Green” makes digitalization a battle horse to achieve the modernization of the agricultural sector, said Friday in Meknes, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki.
Speaking at a press conference held on the sidelines of the 15th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM), Sadiki highlighted the importance of digital technology in the growth of the agricultural sector. He highlighted the role of startups as an important lever for the implementation of this strategy.
According to the Minister, the establishment of a pole dedicated to startups this year is intended to encourage these companies and offer them financial and technical support.
