Heavy Rains Kill Two Girls in Azilal – Local Authorities

Azilal – Two 17-year-old girls died Thursday evening, swept away by floods while they were monitoring their livestock at Oued Tersal, in the town of Ait Bou Oulli in the province of Azilal, said local authorities.

Immediately informed of the accident, the local authorities were mobilized alongside the local population in search of the two girls, said the same source, adding that the bodies of the two victims were recovered at the Douars of Issekefen and Ourouhan in the town of Sidi Boulkhalaf.

The community of Ait Bou Ouli recorded Thursday heavy thunderstorms that caused flooding of the Oued Tersal.
