Mohammed VI Polytechnic University Obtains ‘SILVER STARS’ Rating
Benguerir -The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) has obtained a SILVER level accreditation to the international standard STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System), with a score of 49.48 points.
The accreditation was awarded by the Association for the Advancement for Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), in recognition of UM6P’s achievements in the field of Sustainable Development, in its different components: Training, Research, Operations, Planning, Administration and Innovation & Leadership.
“UM6P is proud of this exceptional achievement, which today positions our university at the forefront of the list of pioneering universities working to advance sustainability internationally, and above all to be the first and only African university to obtain the STARS accreditation,” the university said in a statement posted on its website.
